computing machinery
As the official student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery at VIT Vellore, we’ve been pushing boundaries and challenging conventions since 2009. From research and development to open-source contributions and unorthodox events, we turn ideas into real-world impact.
We don’t just write code - we ask questions, build with purpose, and learn together. With a culture built on trust and innovation, we’re here to build tools, solve problems, and grow as a community - because technology, at its best, brings people together.
Founded in 1984, VIT Vellore is one of India’s top engineering institutions, renowned for academic excellence, global outlook, and a strong emphasis on research and innovation. With students from across India and around the world, VIT offers a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Each domain at ACM-VIT is more than a skillset, it's a mindset.
We build, break, design, analyze, and communicate, not in silos, but in
sync.
Because true innovation happens where disciplines intersect.

E V E N T S
At ACM VIT, we conduct structured project cycles throughout the year to foster innovation, hands-on learning, and creative problem-solving. These project cycles reflect the diversity of technologies explored within the chapter and encourage members to push boundaries, experiment boldly, and grow through real-world application. Through these projects, we also aim to create meaningful community impact by building solutions that address real-world challenges and contribute beyond the campus.
